Michael Emmett Brewer

Michael Emmett Brewer, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Hospice Savannah.  He was born September 7, 1944, in Savannah, GA to the late Willard Emmett Brewer and Gertrude Marie Louis Brewer.  He was a machinist for many years, having worked for Savannah Machine and Foundry, and was a member of the I.A.M. Union.  Mr. Brewer served in the National Guard.  He was also a member of Ryan Excavator’s, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Mr. Brewer was a longtime vendor at Keller's Flea Market, he enjoyed meeting customers and making lifelong friends.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Brewer, and his sister, Patricia Pagan.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Patricia Sanders Brewer, daughter, Deana Vazquez (Orlando), seven grandchildren, Christopher Vazquez, Bradley Vazquez, Daniel Vazquez, Caleb Vazquez, David Vazquez, Josiah Vazquez, and Isaac Vazquez, and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Joseph, and Rachel, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be, 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

Remembrances may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
